Rose Hill Community Centre stay top of Section 2 following a 6-3 win at Quarry Gate B.

Bob Boyce beat Alan Jarvey (180) to set Rose Hill on the way, and wins from Jamie Byles and Dave Witherwick saw them take a 3-1 lead.

Trevor Ballard (180) pulled one back, but Steve Pladdys took the next for Rose Hill and a 2-1 pairs win clinched victory.

Cowley Workers Club stormed to a 7-2 win at Three Horseshoes.

Wayland Honour, Mo Oliver and Bob Freemire were among the Cowley winners, with Adie Bowden and Paul Bustin on target for Three Horseshoes.

Prince of Wales A scraped a 5-4 home win against Nuffield Bar A in Section 3.

Steve Gaisford and Warren Bright were among the winners for Prince of Wales, who also took the pairs 2-1.

Gary Croad and Barry Wells starred for Nuffield Bar.

In Section 4, Cricketers went down 6-3 at home to Marsh Harrier.

Chris Souch and Dave Hopkins gave Cricketers a 2-0 lead.

But Marsh Harrier roared back with Steve James and Mathew Watson among their winners as they went 4-2 up. A 2-1 win in the pairs secured Marsh Harrier's victory.
