A RAMPANT cocaine dealer has been jailed for running a supply operation which he called The White Line.

Alexander Duxbury-Watkinson of Ock Street, Abingdon, who worked as a chef, also sold cocaine and cannabis on a large scale and the number of messages found on his phone was the most a drugs expert had ever seen in their career.

The 24-year-old, who recently moved to Oxfordshire, offered customers high-quality drugs including cannabis packages in trendy glass phials and an ultra-strong version of the drug nicknamed shatter because it looks like glass.

When he lived in Torquay, he was busted twice by the police but carried on as if nothing had happened for months until his business was closed down in a third raid.

Police seized £4,500 cash and drugs worth thousands of pounds during the raids at a friend’s house and at his mother’s home in Torquay.

The case has taken three years to come to court because of linked inquiries and the need to have his phones sent for specialist analysis, in which time he moved to Abingdon.

Duxbury-Watkinson admitted two counts of 'offering to supply' and one of 'possession with intent to supply' cocaine and two counts of possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

He was jailed for a total of three years and eight months by Judge Timothy Rose at Exeter Crown Court.

He told him: “Over more than six months, you had what can only be described as a rampant business supplying cocaine and cannabis which you pursued with enthusiasm.

“The text messages show you advertising your wares and there is reference to a runner, who was presumably somebody to help you. You were doing it on virtually a daily basis.

“You did not stop after your first arrest and carried on regardless. You re-equipped yourself with another phone.”

When the dealer’s home was raided in July 17, he had 72 grams of cannabis and £745 cash.

In December he had 79 grams of cannabis, 22.5 grams of cocaine, and £4,876.43 cash, however, the main evidence of his dealing came from the phones which were seized.

They showed he sent out a menu with six different varieties of cannabis on it, not including shatter, which he offered separately, and that he was also selling a powerful type of cocaine called flake.

He was buying cannabis by the kilogram and chasing debts of thousands of pounds.
