Here’s how it works:
Everything seized by police in an investigation, or handed in at a police station, is held in storage for a set time. But if nobody comes forward to claim it then officers decide whether to bin it, donate it or sell it.

The TVP eBay page is where all of the selling pile ends up.
Everything gets listed at 99p before buyers battle in bids to win the item.
Most things are sold for a fraction of the retail price and it’s all legal – but there is one catch.
All the winners must go to Milton Keynes to collect their goodies. Unlike most sellers TVP explicitly state that it will not send anything in the post.
