HAVE you ever sipped on a gin and tonic and wondered if you could drink it for a living?
Well you might be in luck because The Local Gin company is hiring taste testers.
A job advert posted on their website says ideal candidates must enjoy drinking gin served with tonic and ‘be able to provide honest feedback to their gin selection team’.
The only requirements for the role is that you have a glass, ice and tonic – the gin will be provided.

As part of the company’s ‘panel’ successful applicants will have to try Premium Pink and Dry Gins, all made in the UK, before anyone else.
If the gins pass the taste test they will make it into the company’s gin subscription boxes.
They are looking to hire 16 new gin tasters to start in 2021 – two of them must live in the South East and the others from South West, London, East of England, Midlands, North East, North West and Yorkshire and the Humber.

The job, which will require ‘regular feedback’ isn’t a paid in money but rather ‘lots of gin’.
Madelaine Power, the founder of The Local Gin Company, said: “Our mission is to help people discover amazing gin being produced on their doorstep – and who better to decide whether gins make it into our boxes than the local gin community themselves.”
To apply visit Thelocalgincompany.com/gintasters and fill in a 50 word application on why you’d be the best person for the job.
Applications will close on December 31, 2020.
