A MAN has been charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent following an assault in Banbury.
Police said at 1.30am on Friday, a 21-year-old man was attacked in Marlborough Road.
He is still being treated in hospital today for his injuries, which are serious but not life-threatening.
Three men were arrested. Richard Murray, 25, of Hayman Road, Brackley, was charged with the offence and appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Saturday and remanded to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Friday.
A 19-year-old man was released without charge and another 19-year-old man was released on police bail.
