A MAJOR discount store is set to open a new shop in Oxford this weekend.
The new Home Bargains store in Botley Road will officially open at 8am on Saturday, at the site of the former Toys R Us store.
The retailer has invested approximately £13 million in its new store, with 120 jobs set to be created from its opening.
The store will also boast a cafe, serving hot and cold refreshments.

Home Bargains will also be donating £2,000 to The Gatehouse, the Oxford charity which supports the homeless.
Jeanie Mining, the new Oxford store manager, said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Home Bargains team as store manager of the new Oxford site. Having worked in retail for 25 years, I can honestly say nothing beats the buzz of a brand new store.
“We’re thrilled to be opening our new store in Oxford this Saturday and look forward to welcoming customers through its doors.
“Botley Road will be a great location for us and we’re proud to be able to offer local people top-branded goods at exceptionally low prices.”
