AN elderly woman remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being involved in a crash yesterday.
The incident happened at around 5pm when a grey Fiat Punto was travelling in the direction of Tiddington on the A418 Thame Road when it collided with a yellow Mini that was travelling in the opposite direction.

The driver of the Fiat, a woman in her seventies, sustained life threatening injuries and remains in hospital in a critical condition.
The driver and front seat passenger of the Mini sustained minor injuries and was also taken to hospital.
Watch manager Mark Keely of Wheatley Fire Station said: “We attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision, after quick liaison with our colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service, it was decided both casualties needed to be rescued from the vehicles using our hydraulic cutting equipment.
"Crews worked with speed to release the casualties, so South Central Ambulance could provide the care they needed and transport them to hospital. Thames Valley Police attended to assist with the road closure and investigation of the incident. Thank you for your patience to everyone who was caught up in the traffic as a result.
"Your patience allowed us to keep the scene safe for ourselves and other emergency services responders. Please be careful when driving in winter weather, it has been very foggy recently and the visibility and driving conditions are poor."
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses.
Investigating officer, PC Sarah Davies, of the Joint Operations Road Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with information about what happened, to please come forward.
“I would also appeal to any motorists who were on the A418 at around 5pm yesterday to please check any dash-cam footage in case it may have captured either vehicle or something that could assist with our investigation.
