Vandals caused thousands of pounds of damage to waste collection vehicles and forced a hasty rescheduling of services in west Oxfordshire today.
Half the recycling fleet used by contractors Veolia were put out of action at their depot at Radley, near Abingdon, over the weekend.
Collections in west Oxfordshire from kerbside recycling boxes today will be later than normal and will be made by different types of vehicle. In some areas glass collections will have to be done separately.
Wheelie bin and business waste collections are not affected.
