The streets of Oxford were filled yesterday with Christmas shoppers taking advantage of the city's business restrictions being lifted.
Oxfordshire is currently in Tier 2, meaning non-essential shops could reopen for the first time since early November.
The Westgate Centre was filled with people on Saturday, with queues outside several shops including Primark and H&M.
Masks were required inside the shopping centre, which also had Christmas stands and a reindeer experience for children.
In the Covered Market many independent traders were keen to make up for November losses from the increased footfall.
Yesterday was also Small Business Saturday, aimed at highlighting local traders.
