Flood Watch alerts have been issued by the Environment Agency as rivers in Oxfordshire begin to rise after a weekend of heavy rain.
Low-lying land and roads alongside the rivers Thames, Windrush, Cherwell, Evenlode and Ray are in danger of some flooding.
The Flood Watch warning is the lowest level on a system of alerts used by the agency. See www.environment-agency.gov.uk for the latest information.
More rain is forecast today in the county, though this will die out towards the evening. Drier conditions are expected over the next few days The wet weather decimated Oxfordshire's weekend sporting action.
Although Oxford United's trip to Northwich in Cheshire survived the deluge, the local non-league programme was badly hit.
Oxford City's Southern League Division 1 South & West clash with Newport was postponed, while in the Hellenic League, only two matches of the entire programme went ahead.
The weather also hit Oxfordshire's local leagues hard, with only a handful of fixtures surviving.
