These pictures show members of the Thursday afternoon old folk's club at Headington, Oxford, preparing to leave for an outing.
They met at the Bullingdon community centre in Peat Moors. The pictures come from Wally Boater, of Mulberry Drive, Wheatley.
He writes: "Most of these folk came from Dene Road, Bulan Road and Peat Moors."
He can name only two people in the pictures - Mr and Mrs Hurst, of Dene Road.
Mr Hurst is second from the right in the picture of the five men. In the other picture, Mrs Hurst is on the far right, with the handbag, and her husband is the second man from the right in the back row. The coach they travelled in belonged to White's, of Great Milton, but where were they going and can anyone identify any of the other day trippers?
