The Environment Agency has placed more rivers in Oxfordshire on floodwatch.

The warning means that flooding of low-lying land and roads is possible.

This evening, the River Cherwell and the River Thames between Sandford Lock and Little Wittenham were placed on floodwatch

Yesterday, the rivers Evenlode, Ray and Windrush were placed on floodwatch.

Earlier a floodwatch warning was issued for the Thames between Lechlade and Sandford Lock, south of Oxford, and for the River Thame catchment area.

Light rain is forecast for tomorrow.
