OXFORD was one of the most-used stations in the south east last year.
The railway station saw 8,702,368 passenger entries and exits, making it the fourth busiest station after Gatwick, Brighton and Reading.

The least used station was Finstock, with 1,542 entries and exits recorded last year.
The numbers are revealed in the Office of Rail and Road's (ORR) estimate of station usage statistics, which officially records the annual total of passenger entries and exits.
Gatwick ranked as the 20th most used station in Britain despite a drop of 174,000 entries and exits.
