LOCALS contacted police after a pub in Oxfordshire held a 'lockdown session' only days before hospitality rules are loosened.
The Pickled Ploughman pub in Adderbury, Banbury, was criticised for being 'irresponsible' after a gathering in its premises on Saturday evening.
In a popular post on the Facebook page Banbury Community & Info locals blasted the pub for not adhering to the current lockdown rules.

But owner of the Pickled Ploughman Trevor Brown revealed this was a staff meeting, not a lock-in.
Commenting under the post Mr Brown said: "I held a staff training meeting on procedures for Tier 2 reopening.
"The police visited to check on our socially distanced training session and had no issues whatsoever."
The force confirmed officers attended the pub on Aynho Road and found staff were being trained ahead of this week's reopening.
