The battle against homelessness in Oxfordshire will be boosted by more than £2m in funding, the Government announced.
Housing minister Iain Wright said the cash injection, which will be divided into three annual payments, would help people sleeping on the streets and those staying in bed and breakfast accommodation.
Latest figures show 108 families in Oxfordshire - including 52 in Oxford - were accepted as homeless, and eligible for local authority help, between April and June.
