Soldiers were reunited with their families after returning home from a tough six-month tour in Iraq.
The 84 who arrived back at Dalton Barracks, Abingdon, on Thursday night were the last of more than 500 members of 3 Logistic Support Regiment to come back from serving in the Gulf on Operation Telic 10.
The regiment were part of 1 Mechanised Brigade operating in Basra before and after the handover at the start of September of Basra Palace to Iraqi control.
Back to an emotional family reunion was Private Ryan Cocker, 19, who, despite being the youngest member of his squadron, is a father-of-two.
Holding his four-month-old son Jayden and hugging girlfriend Danielle, 21, and his older son Reece, who is nearly two, he said: "It's great to be back.
"Now it's my turn to change some nappies - not really looking forward to that."
Next Thursday, they will march through the centre of Abingdon before being presented publicly with their Operation Telic 10 medals.
