A LORRY overturned on the M40 this morning. 

At around 9.15am firefighters from Bicester, Banbury and Kidlington raced to the Fewcott Roundabout at junction 10 of the motorway. 

BREAKING: Oxfordshire in Tier 2 

Police officers closed the lane to traffic. 

Taking to Facebook, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Although only a 'small' job for the crews making the vehicle safe and protecting the environment from the fuel and oil spilling from the lorry, we would like to remind you of the need to adjust your driving in winter months especially when it is frosty and roads become slippery."
