Runners are being urged to get into the festive spirit - by dressing up as Father Christmas on Sunday.
More than 700 runners dressed as Father Christmas took part in Oxford's first festive charity race last weekend.
And more are needed to join Bicester's 5km Santa Fun Run.
Among those getting into the red and white garb for the event is Bicester mayor John Cozens, who is urging others to join him.
He said: "I have had about 50 people sign up. But I think the people of Bicester can do better than this!"
He said he wanted the race to be as successful as last Sunday's in Oxford - in which children joined parents for a two-mile jog around the city centre, battling wind and rain.
Bicester's run will raise funds for the town's Citizen Advice Bureau, Bicester Green Gym and Service by Emergency Ride Volunteers (SERV).
SERV delivers blood products to hospitals across Southern England at night - whenever and wherever it is needed - free of charge.
Bicester Town Council has 500 Santa outfits for entrants taking part.
Entrants must pledge to raise a minimum of £1 sponsorship and donate five per cent of funds to the mayor's charities.
The race starts at Pingle Field Pavilion, at 12.30pm.
It follows a circular route, suitable for most abilities, taking in Priory Lane, Chapel Street, Market Square, Sheep Street back to Market Square, The Causeway, Old Place Yard, round the football pitch and finishing at Pingle Field.
Certificates will be presented after the race.
Bicester Twinning Association will be selling soup, tea and coffee before and after the race, while Bicester Community College's jazz band will provide entertainment.
Competitors can either run as individuals or part of a team of no fewer than eight runners.
All sponsorship money must be collected and paid over by the end of January.
