FOUR children have tested positive for coronavirus at one school.
In a letter to all parents this morning, which has been seen by this paper, the head teacher of Oxford Spires Academy said: “We have been made aware of four members of our student community who have tested positive for Covid-19.”

Marianne Blake added: “The small number of children who have been in close contact with the individuals who has tested positive for coronavirus have already received a letter, ParentMail and phone call informing them that their child must stay at home for 14 days until 9th December.
“If you have not been contacted by a member of staff this afternoon your child has NOT been in close proximity of a confirmed positive case therefore should continue to attend school as normal.”
One parent said that school was open as normal and all year groups are going in.
