OXFORD Brookes University have reported 55 new coronavirus cases.
In the week leading up to November 13, the latest data available, 52 students had tested positive for Covid-19 as well as three members of staff.
Of these, 49 of them live in Oxford and six outside of Oxfordshire.
As part of the latest government lockdown, students have been told they cannot travel between term-time accommodation and their permanent homes.
Instead, there will be a ‘student travel window’ and the government will roll out ‘rapid Covid testing’ to students who plan to go home.
The university said, in a statement online, that teaching will continue face-to-face until December 4 when the remainder of the first semester will be moved online.
