Paramedics were called to the A415 at the Standlake Road junction in Ducklington following an accident earlier today.
The accident involving a car and a motorbike happened at 6.30am near Cokethorpe School.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said one person was taken to hospital but the extent of his injuries is not yet known.
The area is a notorious accident blackspot.
Oxfordshire County Council said there had been three fatal accidents on the A415 within two-thirds of a mile of Cokethorpe School in the five years up to September 2007, four serious crashes and three "slight" collisions.
The headteacher at Cokethorpe School has "repeatedly" appealed for traffic calming measures outside his school.
Damian Ettinger said the independent school had already been forced to spend more than £15,000 on road signs to slow down vehicles on the A415, and had banned drivers from turning right a they exited the grounds.
