An 18-year-old man died after the car he was in hit a tree last night.
The accident happened at 11.50pm on the A361 near Cotswold Wildlife Park.
Emergency crews were called after a Renault Clio hit the tree. It took firefighters 30 minutes to free the teenager who was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he later died.
A spokesman for South Central Ambulance said a 17-year-old male in the vehicle was taken to hospital suffering chest and shoulder injuries. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
