POLICE are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole iPods from the Currys store in Witney.
Two men carried the glass case in which the MP3 players were displayed out of the shop covered in a sheet.
They were seen loading it into the back of a van, containing a third man, parked in the Waitrose car park.
They escaped with 260 iPods, worth about £29,000.
The theft happened at 5.30pm on Tuesday.
The R-reg white Transit van used by the thieves was seen to drive out of the Waitrose car park to the Witan Way junction with Langdale Gate roundabout, turn right along Langdale Gate, and then left into Church Green.
The two men are white and aged between 25 and 30. One has long blonde hair and was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms; the other has dark hair, had stubble and was wearing casual clothes.
