MEN were threatened at knifepoint during a ‘terrifying’ break-in.
Between 7pm and 9pm on Wednesday a group of two to four thugs broke into a house on Denton Close, Botley, through the back door.
Two men inside the house, one in his twenties and the other in his thirties, were threatened with a knife and struck with a crowbar on the legs and body.

Two wallets and cash were taken from the house before the group made a getaway on foot in an unknown direction.
There is only descriptions for the one of the men who was wearing black clothes, a jacket with a fur hood. He had a sim build and was around 6ft tall.
In the UK, aggravated burglary carries a maximum penalty of life in prison.
Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Antony Maddison, of Abingdon police station, said: “I am appealing for witnesses or any information in relation to this incident of aggravated burglary.

“It was a terrifying experience for both victims, who sustained minor injuries during the incident. Thankfully the injuries did not require hospital treatment.
“However we are investigating this incident as a priority, and would ask that anyone with information relating to it contacts Thames Valley Police by either calling 101, or reporting online. Please quote reference 43200371964 when making any reports.
