OXFORD MAGISTRATES’ COURT

MARK COOPER, 44, of Marshall Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman by beating in Oxford on June 12. He was made subject to a community order, to include participating in an accredited programme for 24 days. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £94.95 and court costs of £85.

KIERAN WOOD, 48, of Cheyney Walk, Abingdon, admitted assaulting a woman by beating in Abingdon on May 26. He must pay a victim surcharge of £22 and court costs of £85.

FREDRICK NJOROGE, 20, of Osney Court, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence in Oxford on January 25. He was fined £120 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85.

BENJAMIN TIMBERLAKE, 38, of Claremont Place, Chinnor, admitted assaulting a woman by beating in Chinnor on August 2. He was fined £480 and must pay a victim surcharge of £48 and court costs of £85.

JAMIE BRACKETT, 43, of Nunnery Close, Oxford, was convicted of speeding on Woodstock Road, Oxford, on March 10. He was driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone. Brackett was fined £220 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

JODY EARP, 39, of Milton Hill, Abingdon, admitted speeding on Seymour Court Road, Marlow, on February 25. He was driving at 35mph in a 30mph zone. Earp was fined £100 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

REZSO NAGY, 56, of Crown Street, Oxford, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver in Banbury between June 16 and July 14. He was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £90. His driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

SIYALINI THIVENDRARAJAH, 38, of Oxford Road, Abingdon, admitted speeding on Reading Road, Lower Basildon, on May 31. She was driving at 43mph in a 30mph zone. Thivendrarajah was fined £107 and must pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £90. Her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

ARREN TOMKINS, 32, of Smith Close, Steventon, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis at Abingdon Police Station on March 23. He was fined £162 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £75. Tomkins was disqualified from driving for three years.

CRAIG GREALY, 40, of St Helens Mews, Abingdon, admitted possessing 13 items of children’s clothing that he was prohibited from having by a sexual offences prevention order in St Helens Mews, Abingdon, on July 28. He was made subject to a community order, to include 50 sessions of the New Me Programme over a period of 18 months. Grealy must also pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £85.

GORDON KEARNEY, 60, of Bath Street, Abingdon, admitted causing criminal damage by destroying a letter of unknown value in Abingdon on August 25. He also admitted harassing a woman by turning up at her home while unwanted and refusing to leave. Kearney was made subject to a community order, to include treatment for alcohol dependency by or under the direction of the probation service for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and court costs of £150.

LUKE BRANDISH, 27, of Beeching Way, Wallingford, admitted drug driving on Castle Lane, Wallingford, on May 20. The proportion of the controlled drugs benzoylecgonine and ketamine in his blood exceeded the specified limit. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85. Brandish was disqualified from driving for one year.

RACHEL BRADY, 31, of Botley Road, Oxford, admitted fraud by using someone else's debit card, intending to make a gain, namely money to the value of £43.51 at Waitrose in Botley Road, Oxford, on April 27. She was made subject to a community order and must pay compensation of £43.51, a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £100.

ADRIAN DAVIES, 42, of no fixed abode, admitted causing criminal damage to a custody mobile phone to the value of £79 at Abingdon Police Station on June 3. He was ordered to pay compensation of £50.

LEE SUTTON, 48, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence in Banbury on June 2. He was fined £160 and must pay a victim surcharge of £34 and court costs of £85.

ANDREW BURNS-MACKIE, 27, of Palmer Avenue, Lower Arncott, admitted possessing cocaine and cannabis in Bicester on March 22. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. The drugs were forfeited and destroyed.

JAY EDE, 26, of Cresswell Close, Yarnton, admitted drug driving in Sainsbury's car park, Kidlington, on December 7. The proportion of the controlled drug delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood exceeded the specified limit. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £32 and court costs of £85. Ede was disqualified from driving for one year.

MAHBUB ISLAM, 41, of Craufurd Road, Oxford, was convicted of speeding on the B480 Chiselhampton on September 20, 2019. He was driving at 39mph in a 30mph zone. Islam also admitted being the driver of a vehicle stood or plied for hire when the carriage was not licensed as a public hackney carriage and using it when there was no insurance in force covering that use of the vehicle in Walton Street, Oxford, on September 27, 2019. He was fined £376 and must pay court costs of £150. Islam was disqualified from driving for six months.

STACEY BREAKSPEAR, of Springfield Road, Wantage, was convicted of failing to supply information as requested under council tax regulations in Wantage between February 6 and 11. He was fined £440 and must pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £110.

KYLE DUNCAN, 35, of Wordsworth Road, Abingdon, was convicted of failing to supply information as requested under council tax regulations in Abingdon between February 6 and 11. He was fined £440 and must pay a victim surcharge of £44 and court costs of £110.
