THREE children from military families have been chosen to feature in a charity calendar.
One-year-old Decimus Cotton and sisters Lexi (2) and Lily-May Bloomfield (3) will feature as the May and August entries in the Little Troopers 2021 calendar.
The Brize Norton youngsters were chosen from more than a hundred children to feature in the calendar, which shines a light on the experiences of military children.
Decimus is pictured enjoying the Red Arrows at RAF Fairford last year.

His dad, Luke, who is currently deployed overseas with the RAF, said: “Decimus loves watching planes and always thinks that every plane is ‘daddy’s plane’.
“2020 has been a tough year for us as a family as Decimus’ older brother, Romeo, had appendicitis earlier this year and the boys lost their nan during lockdown, but the boys have continued to be positive about everything and always light up the room.”
Meanwhile, Lexi and Lily-May are pictured welcoming their mum, Gemma, home from an overseas deployment.
She said: “Lily-May and Lexi have been through a lot in their little lives, from being adopted by myself and my wife, to a lot of ongoing medical issues.
“But no matter what life throws at them they never stop smiling.
“To see their faces running towards me shouting ‘mummy’ was the best feeling in the world, it’s something money can’t buy and the picture is a very special memory that we will cherish forever.”

The ‘Through Our Eyes’ calendar is now on sale with all proceeds going to Little Troopers.
Louise Fetigan, founder of the charity, said: “We hope that by sharing these stories, other military children will see that there are lots of little troopers who share similar experiences and are part of this very special community of amazing and resilient young people.”
