ANOTHER death of a patient who tested positive for Covid has been reported at the John Radcliffe’s hospital trust.
Figures published today by NHS England show the death took place at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH) on Saturday.
The patient was one of 300 people confirmed to have died in England’s hospitals with Covid-19, bringing the total number there to 34,963 since the start of the pandemic.
Patients were aged between 35 and 100 years old.

All except eight (aged 66 to 99 years old) had known underlying health conditions.
Date of death range from September 18 to November 9, with the majority being on or after November 6.
It means there were two Covid deaths at OUH on Saturday, the first announced on Monday.
Though updated daily, NHS England totals for recent days can change based on factors such as a confirmed positive test result.
It brings the total death toll at the trust to 191 since the start of the pandemic.
