A MAN has been jailed for going into a village.
Robert Smialek, aged 39, of Cowley Road, Oxford was sentenced to 12 weeks’ imprisonment at Oxford Crown Court on Monday.
He was found guilty of two breaches of a civil injunction between October 20 and 21 when he communicated, threatened or intimidated a victim or incited somebody else to and entered Kidlington after he was banned.

The investigating officer, PC Matthew Longman, based at Bicester police station, said: “We are delighted with the court’s decision to sentence Smialek which shows that their understanding of such cases and that the court takes seriously any breaches of their orders.
“Further, Thames Valley Police will utilise the powers available to them to protect vulnerable individuals from being exposed to possible harm.”
