A teenager was attacked in the street by two men who stole his chips.
The 13-year-old was walking home along Sinodun Road in Didcot between 4.45pm and 5pm yesterday.
He was carrying chips for himself and his brother and sister when two men attacked him.
One grabbed the boy in a headlock and as he fell to the ground a second man kicked him and grabbed the food before fleeing towards Bridge Close.
A friend cycled past and tried to help and he was also attacked.
The man who put the victim in the headlock is 5ft 8ins, skinny and had a bald head, wearing a white T-shirt with a Union Jack on the front and light blue jeans.
The man who kicked the boy is 5ft 10ins and stocky with short brown hair and wearing a black hooded top and dark tracksuit bottoms.
Both white and in their early twenties.
DC Rachel Carter said: Although the value of the goods taken is low, the victim was subjected to a nasty assault and was left very shaken by what happened."
