OFFICERS are in the area of Watlington Hill National Trust car park today so that anyone who may have information about a murder that happened last week can come forward.
Thames Valley Police is making an appeal for information on the week anniversary since a murder investigation was launched in Oxfordshire.
On Friday, October 23, at around 5.53pm, the body of Carole Wright, aged 62, was found in woodland in the Watlington Hill National Trust park.

Her next of kin are being supported by specially trained officers and have asked that their privacy be respected at this time.
A post-mortem to establish the cause of death was conducted on Monday, but further specialist forensic tests need to be undertaken which will take some time.
A 23-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Detective Inspector Mike Roddy, of the Major Crime Unit, said: “It has been one week since we launched an investigation into this tragic incident.
“Officers will be in the area of Watlington Hill National Trust car park between midday and 6pm today (30/10) carrying out anniversary checks.
“If you have any information, please speak to any of the officers at that location.

“We are specifically appealing for witnesses who were in the local area between 2pm and 6pm last Friday, who may have seen anything suspicious or unusual to please come forward. No matter how small you think the information is, it could be vital to the investigation, so please get in touch.
“Furthermore, we have yet to recover the victim’s handbag and would also appeal to anyone who may have information as to its whereabouts to please let us know.
