POLICE descended on Oxford Brookes University campus last night after a call for a 'fear for welfare' incident.
Thames Valley Police confirmed officers were called to Cheney Lane at around 8.15pm.
A spokesperson for the force said they attended the incident, which was resolved safely at around 9.50pm.

One witness, who wishes to remain anonymous, revealed that around 15 offers were spotted at the scene, with police vehicles and security blocking off the area.
Passers-by were also being diverted away from the campus.
