PAPER plates criticising an MP’s decision to vote against extending free school meals have been posted on his business address door.
Witney MP Robert Courts voted against Labour’s proposal last week, with residents now reacting by sticking plates to the Waterloo House door in Witney’s High Street.
Among the approximate 30 plates, messages read: ‘lunch is not a luxury’ and ‘food, glorious food’.
Last week, all Oxfordshire’s Conservative MPs voted down Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford’s bid to extend free school meals for disadvantaged children.
Mr Courts has been contacted for a comment.
