SELF-ISOLATING residents have been communicating with the outside world via signs that read 'send books and wine'.
Oxford-based food photographer Jason Spoor snapped a photograph of the windows of a brick building on St Ebbe's Street in the heart of the city.

The picture that was posted on the Oxford Community page on Facebook on Saturday morning resembled hundreds of similar cries for help from students across the UK, who have been forced to stay in their halls for weeks.
Hundreds of people have been forced to self-isolate following a surge in cases of Covid-19 in Oxford.
According to Public Health England the latest number of cases in the city since 4.30pm yesterday has been confirmed as 1,942.
