NO stores selling alcohol and fireworks failed an undercover police operation.
Underage volunteers working with Thames Valley Police tried to trick shop workers in Witney and Carterton to sell them alcohol and fireworks but they were all refused service after failing to provide an ID.

Officers from West Oxfordshire force, who carried out the test on Thursday morning, praised workers and added: “Our local stores demonstrated a high level of diligence and the managers have all received positive feedback.
“We would like to thank the stores for their cooperation and our volunteers and their parents for taking part.”
