POLICE are hunting for a thief who placed a ‘skimming’ device on an ATM.
At some point between Wednesday (October 14) and Friday (October 16) a device was put on a Lloyds TSB bank machine in Sheep Street, Burford.
Money was taken from at least one person, who has been reimbursed.
A device may have also been put on the same machine in the last week of September.

Now police have released a CCTV image of a man who might have ‘vital information’.
Investigating officer PC Anthony Cossar, based in Banbury, said: “I am releasing this CCTV image as I believe that this man may have important information that could help with my investigation.
“If you recognise this man, or think that it might be you, get in touch.
“I am also asking the public to remain vigilant when using cash machines and to report anything suspicious to us."
