CHILDREN are being urged to use their imagination and participate in a Christmas art competition.
North Oxfordshire MP Victoria Prentis is calling on all primary school-aged children in her constituency to enter her annual Christmas card competition.
The winning entry will become Ms Prentis’ official Christmas card and features the runner-up designs on the back.
This year’s theme is ‘Away in a Manger’ and designs can either be landscape or portrait and should be as colourful as possible.

Ms Prentis said: “One of the highlights of the year is my Christmas Card competition. I am always so overwhelmed by the talent of those who enter.
“I am sure this year will be no exception. With half term approaching, I hope children might have the time to get creative. I can’t wait to see all the entries I receive.”
All entries should be sent to the MP’s constituency office in Orchard House, Hopcraft Lane, Deddington, OX15 0TD, with the child’s full name, age, and school on the back of the design, by Friday, November 13.
A pupil from Frank Wise School in Banbury won the competition last year.
Ms Prentis has run the contest every year since she was first elected.
