What on earth is the Government doing? It seems it doesn't know what it wants.

It wants to cut air pollution to help save climate change.

Now it wants to build a new runway at Heathrow Airport, plus another terminal, increasing the number of planes landing and taking off, causing astronomical pollution which could have a devastating effect on the ozone layer. Bang goes this world.

It wasn't so long ago the Government was told about more planes would make air space overcrowded, leading to accidents.

An entire village will have to be demolished to accommodate the runway. Where is the common sense in this? There is already a housing shortage, without making it worse.

How much more homelessness does the Government want to create? It doesn't care because it's the taxpayers' hard-earned money that will pay for it.

I wholeheartedly agree with Greenpeace. The Government should stop these idiotic brainwaves and think of the consequences before rushing in.

Give us back Sir Winston Churchill - the best Prime Minister we ever had.
