A MAN has been released by police after an arson in Oxford.
Eight police cars, three fire engines and two ambulances raced to Gordon Woodward Way, just off Abingdon Road, on Saturday night after reports of a house fire.
Police officers had to 'negotiate with' a man who had climbed from an upstairs window.

South Central Ambulance Service said one person was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation. Their condition is unknown.
At the time, a 41-year-old man from Oxford was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life.
He has now been released by police under investigation.
