She spoke with managing director James Clarke and Mark Graham from the brewery about a range of issues, including the 10pm curfew and enforcement action taken against those in breach of social distancing guidelines.

Ms Prentis also talked about restarting her pub tour where she visits local pubs.

She said: “I always enjoy visiting Hook Norton Brewery and catching up with the team. Hook Norton own 36 pubs in and around north Oxfordshire so have a lot of first-hand experience of the current Covid restrictions.

"From the 10pm curfew, to the safety measures put in place in their pubs, the visit was really helpful and provided me with an invaluable insight into the impact of current coronavirus regulations on business which I can pass on to my Ministerial colleagues. I look forward to visiting again soon.”
