A THUG threatened to stab an elderly woman at the post office.
At around 4.45pm on Tuesday (October 13), a man tried to go into the shop on South Newton Road, Barford St Michael, but the woman, who is in her 80s, said that the store was closed.
He returned 10 minutes later and she agreed to let him buy a bottle of water.

But when he got inside he stole cash from behind the tills and several packets of cigarettes.
The woman tried to stop him but he threatened to stab her and pushed past her to leave.
She wasn't left with any injuries.

But now police have released CCTV images of a man who might have 'vital information' about what happened.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Oliver Harrison, based at Banbury police station said: “I believe the man in these images may have vital information that could help with our investigation.
“If you recognise this man, or if you believe it could be you, please get in touch.
“Likewise if you were in the area at the time and witnessed anything or have any information we would like to hear from you."
