Retrospective planning permission for the hut and bike storage at the New Richards Building on Roosevelt Drive was given the green-light by Oxford City Council last week.

In the application university bosses said the walk-in only building would only stay in place for 12 months.
Inside, there's enough space for 'consultations' and testing which will give a 'fast response to identifying and isolating cases within the university to reduce the spread of the virus in Oxford'.
Appointments will be given online to avoid queues nearby, there will be no parking at the site and people going in and out will need to follow a one-way system.
