THE Princess Royal will be visiting Dorchester Abbey today, as patron of the Home Farm Trust, a charity for people with learning difficulties.
The Princess, the Trust's patron for 25 years, will be at the candle-lit event where actors Robert Hardy and Imogen Stubbs will read a selection of poetry and prose and music will feature the Choir of New College Oxford under Edward Higginbottom.
All the proceeds from the £20 a head concert will go to support people with learning difficulties throughout Oxfordshire.
Hilary Colbert, the Trust's regional fundraiser, said: "We are delighted and honoured to welcome Her Royal Highness to our Coming of Christmas celebration this year."
The concert begins at 8pm.
