A THIEF has been jailed after stealing almost £350 of meat and alcohol from a town Marks & Spencer.
Jamie Woodley, of Loder Road, Harwell, admitted snatching goods from the Foodhall in Didcot's Orchard Centre on three separate occasions this summer.
On his first visit on June 8, the 32-year-old took £96 worth of alcohol.
Woodley returned to steal meat on July 28 and August 7, stealing goods totalling £150 and £100 respectively.
He was sentenced at Oxford Magistrates' Court and will spend eight weeks in prison due to 'persistent offending of a dishonest nature'.
Woodley must also pay a victim surcharge of £128.
