ROBBERS who carried out a ramraid on a jewellery store in Banbury have been sentenced to a total of 45 years in prison.
Four men and one woman were today sentenced at Birmingham Crown Court for the robbery at Michael Jones Jewellers in Banbury High Street on March 6 this year.
All five defendants, who were from Coventry, were charged with conspiracy to rob and had previously been found guilty.
Christian Hibbert, who was also being sentenced in relation to firearm charges, was sentenced to 12 years.
Leroy Green, who was also found guilty of robbery, was also sentenced to 12 years, while his sister, Lorna Green, was sentenced to seven years.
Richard John and Clinton Hunte were sentenced to six years and eight years respectively.
