Flood alerts have been issued for Oxfordshire as more heavy rain continues to fall across the county.

Seven alerts are in force. These are:

  1. Langford and Wendlebury Brooks from Stratton Audley down to near Merton
  2. River Evenlode from Moreton in Marsh to Cassington and also the River Glyme at Wootton and Woodstock
  3. River Ray and its tributaries from Shipton Lee to and including Islip
  4. River Thames and tributaries in the Oxford area
  5. River Thames for Henley, Remenham, Medmenham and its tributaries
  6. River Thames for Shiplake, Lower Shiplake and Wargrave
  7. River Thames for the Abingdon area

Heavy rain is expected to stop at 12pm today.

Some areas flooded at the weekend and police issued a warning to drivers to be cautious of standing water on roads.
