Oxfordshire produced their best performace of the season by seeing off Warwickshire 23-16 at home to make it three wins out of four in Division 1 of the Inter-Counties Championship.
Warwickshire came down from the Premier Section last season and are one of the favourites to go back up after winning their first three outings.
However, Oxon were not fazed as they continued the form that has earned them promotion three years on the trot.
The ladies B team got them off to their usual good start, winning 5-1, which keeps them top of their section.
Irene Richardson (pictured), with a 20.59 average, took her second lady-of-the-match in a row, with the other wins coming from Nicola Curzon, Sandra Cox, Babs Manning and Hazel Prowton.
The men's B went down 7-5, with man-of-the-match going to John Fowler (27.83). Paul Farnes, Les Radford, Mark Stocker and Nick Cobb were the other victors.
Going into Sunday's games, Oxon held an 10-8 lead, and their ladies' A side faced a strong Warwicks outfit which included seven-times world champion Trina Gulliver.
However, Oxon rose to the occasion by winning 4-2, Becca Rose (21.46) taking the lady-of-the-match award. Louise Carroll, Karen Williams and Linda Jones were their other winners.
With a 14-10 advantage, the men's A pulled off a 6-6 draw to cement overall victory, helped by three bonus points.
Roger Haines (26.35), Kit Young, Tony Leone, man-of-the-match Jon Jukes (28.71), Ade Larner and Barry Stratford led the way.
