POLICE have warned drivers this morning to be careful travelling due to standing water on the roads.
Heavy rain fell across the county throughout yesterday and more is forecasted today.

Thames Valley Police tweeted: "Drive safely if you are going to be out this weekend - it will be wet and windy."

Some advice the force has issued includes:
- Drive to the conditions and slow down
- Keep well back from the vehicle in front
- Take extra care around pedestrians
- Hold your steering wheel firmly
- Turn your lights on
Yesterday, a yellow weather warning was issued by The Met Office, but today an amber warning has been added.
Ths means heavy rain is expected to bring some flooding and transport disruption.
Rain won't stop in Oxford until 5pm today.
Homes and businesses are likely to be flooded, causing damage to some buildings and fast flowing or deep floodwater is likely, causing danger to life.

If you are travelling by train then check timetables as there may be delays or cancellations to services as well as buses.
There is a good chance that some communities will be cut off by flooded roads.
