A CHARITY shop previously overwhelmed with donations is now seeking homewares, clothes and accessories.

After the Oxfam store in Witney Market Square reopened after lockdown, there was a period of mass donations.

However, the store reported that has now settled down and it can cope with current donation levels.

The store asks that any donations are clean, undamaged and saleable, in particular for homewares.

Last month, charity shops in the town said they had been ‘inundated’ with donations as lockdown restrictions loosened.

The situation was impacted by coronavirus guidelines that stores are operating with, such as quarantining donations and organising designated donation days.
