A MOTHER was shocked when her one-year-old daughter found what appeared to be cocaine in a children’s park.
The mother, who did not wish to be named, took her young daughter to The Leys in Witney yesterday with a friend and her daughter.
She said her daughter found the bag by a bench in the park.

She said: “I don’t normally go there, it was probably only the second time ever.
“I went with a friend and our little girls, and my daughter was picking up leaves when my friend shouted me.
“It looked like she was putting a leaf in her mouth but it was actually the bag.
“When we opened it, we were sure it was cocaine.

“If she swallowed it, it would’ve been a life or death situation.
“I was so shocked, I told my partner and he said we won’t be taking her there again.
“It shouldn’t be happening, especially in a play park, mums need to be aware of this.”
