WITH many Remembrance Sunday parades cancelled this year to prevent the spread of coronavirus a different commemoration is being proposed.
A post on Facebook group Bicester Chat by Yvonne Simons said: "So they clapped for our NHS and key workers on their doorsteps.
"Remembrance Sunday 11th November parades have been cancelled because of the situation we are in.

"Let's as a nation stand in silence on our doorsteps at the 11th hour on the 11th of November for 2mins and show our respect.
"Lest we forget. Get as many people to repost this."
The post has been shared more than 300 times, with almost 200 likes and other supportive reactions.
Jenny Cadle commented: "Well said. I do hope that people do this."
